6 addictions

I've been tagged by my friend, Audrey to post 6 of my addictions. So, in no particular order, here they are...
1. Reading- it's like breathing...I have to have at least a little time to myself to read everyday (hence my huge reading supply in the bathroom) :)
2. Taco's- or anything that have the make-up of refried beans, cheese, sour cream, salsa and chips.  I could do with or without avocado, lettuce, tomato...all the good stuff :)
3. I don't know if this qualifies as an "addiction" but I love cheesy high school movies.  You know, where everything turns out happy in the end.
4. dark chocolate- the darker the better.  Must be all the good antioxidants.
5. Playing soccer- sometimes I have to drag my butt onto the field but once I get playing- there is such a high.
6.  Hanging with my family-I so miss Connor and Brendan on the days I am working.
Ok- so if you read this.. Steph, Crystal, Stacy and Anne you're "it" and it's your turn to list your addictions :)

The last few days.

Walking with Dad
What's that?
Time to walk with Mom
Hanging out by the garden area.
I want to read this one...
A peaceful moment for George away from Connor pulling her tail
What should I cook?
Brendan trying to put the kitchen together during nap time.

We finally put together Connor's "big" Christmas present.  I have to say that the multiple pieces that we had to cut apart and then screw together discouraged us from doing it before now (And yes, it was made in the USA :).  Connor loves it! He spent a lot of time the last few days cooking, actually I don't know if he was cooking or just loving the freedom to open and close doors and pull things out :)
We've also been enjoying the beautiful weather and spent some time outside.

Connor is getting into everything!

Please note the safety latch- that obviously didn't work!
Vroom Vroom
Love listening to music
Doesn't this smile just "make" your day?
"Look Mom I'm 10 months and don't want to stay in one spot for my picture"

Now that this kid is moving, Brendan and I are trying to stay on our toes :)
This week Connor somehow opened the only kitchen cabinet door with a child safety lock on it. So we had to put new ones on every door.  He also figured out how to climb the stairs.  He wears blue, green, and yellow every day based on the shade the bruises take that day...if anyone has ideas on how to keep him from bumping his head on everything let me know!
He is still a very happy baby and we feel so blessed to have him.

Game Farm Park

Whoa there! We had to bribe this guy with bread so he's stop playing "Chicken" with the van.
Up close
Seriously! In my car!
Not a sight you see in WA-usually.
A big bear...so what...

On our BIG December vacation- with Connor still feeling a little under the weather (imagine lots of poopy/runny blow outs) we headed to Port Townsend with my parents and cousins Rick and Colleen.  We spent a week at the Worldmark condo's.  One of our big adventures was going to the Game Farm Park to see all the animals.  Now I don't know if Connor was too impressed but the rest of the van-load was laughing hysterically as the buffalo chased us around the park.  There are big warning signs "DO NOT STOP YOUR VEHICLE NEAR THE BUFFALO!"  I had buffalo slobber on my vehicle for days following the trip.  Enjoy the pictures!
