Update on construction

Hole in wall :)  This is where my washer and dryer will reside. Yes, the hole will be fixed.

Connor fed himself a jar of baby food (sweet potato) that he found while we were trying to organize!  He totally loved it, ate the whole thing.

I turned my back for just a second yesterday...and what a mess Connor made.  He discovered that when he shook the baby oatmeal box- A LOT of stuff comes out :)

Connor and I had an opportunity to go out to my friend's (Rachel and Scott) cabin on Clear Lake yesterday.  We were very excited since Audrey, Bryce, and their little boy Trevin were coming to play too.  Audrey had Trevin just a few weeks after Connor was born and we had wanted the two to meet.  I'm not sure they knew exactly what to think.  But I loved that he had another little boy to play with.  Gracie (Rachel and Scott's) daughter showed them how things were done :)  She taught them all about jumping on a giant intertube- when Connor and I got home he wanted to practice on our bed :)

First Milkshake

On a HOT day last week we drove to the Sumner Dairy Freeze for Connor's first milkshake.  Technically it was my milkshake and NO Connor did not eat the whole thing....we're not crazy :)

I think the pictures say it all- HE LOVED IT!  Strawberry goodness :)

We are in the midst of a total re-do of our master bath.  The bath tub was old/gross/and needed to be replaced- so when we decided to replace it we decided to redo most everything :)  

I will post the newly done bathroom pictures when we are done.

For now we have all our bathroom supplies in tubs and we are sharing Connor's bathroom :)

Yesterday my sister, Briana, decided that we needed to take a trip to the beach.  Tara and her dog Finley, Briana, my Mom, and Connor and I met up at Dash Pt. State Park.  We spend a fun hour or so playing.  Connor wasn't "big" on sand sticking to his feet or hands so it was interesting.  We definitely need to get the little man some beach shoes.

Unfortunately, the end of the day wasn't so fun.  While we were down at the beach my Mom's car was broken into- and her purse and CD's were stolen.  Totally creeped me out because when we got the beach I saw a "suspicious looking character" leaning on his car smoking and peeking into my Mom's car windows...in hindsight I feel like I should have taken down his license plate number....
